Automotive Sales CRM: Sales Operations Support
Automotive Sales CRM is the internal operating layer for supporting car sales after a customer or partner request enters the pipeline. The product focuses on the manager workspace rather than the open B2B market: who owns the next action, which stage a deal is in, what documents are missing, which notifications are unread, and where responsibility should move next.
Product Role
The CRM turns scattered chats, spreadsheets, manual reminders and handoffs into a visible workflow for sales, logistics, finance, documentation and management roles. Each role sees its own tasks, relevant deal cards, overdue items, comments, documents and stage controls instead of a generic all-company board.
Workflow Model
The system supports lead intake, qualification, vehicle selection, client-visible updates, document collection, China-side purchase, logistics, customs, delivery and post-sale handoff. Stage transitions are explicit, auditable and designed to pass responsibility from one role to another without losing context.
Operational Features
- Role-aware workspaces for sales, logistics, finance and document flows.
- Deal stages, SLA reminders, snooze/restore behavior and archived views.
- Comments, document notes, status history and client-visible events.
- Notifications for assigned work and delayed actions.
- Public read-only mode for selected deal context where appropriate.
Engineering Highlights
The frontend is built as a responsive React/TypeScript application backed by FastAPI and SQLite in the pilot environment. It shares the same containerized deployment contour as the surrounding automotive platform, with separate CI/CD triggers, visual QA and smoke checks.
Business Value
The CRM closes the loop from recommendation or marketplace interest to execution. It makes the sale accountable, reduces lost handoffs, gives managers a reliable view of work in progress, and creates a foundation for later sales analytics and partner marketplace workflows.
